License Terms

A print license is permission to make physical prints of a piece for display. It does not transfer copyright.

What a print license is

When you buy a print license, you receive permission to make a physical print of the licensed piece and display it.

Copyright stays with Brandon Howard. All photographs and films on this site are © Brandon Howard. A license grants a permission; it does not sell or transfer the copyright.

One license, one print

Each license covers one physical print. If you would like more than one print, of the same piece or of different pieces, buy one license for each print.

Volume pricing

The price of each license depends on how many licenses are in your cart. Volume pricing counts every license in the cart, across any pieces: five different pieces once each, or five prints of one piece, both count as five.

Current tiers are listed on the Pricing page. For 25 or more licenses, request a custom quote.

Florida Local Pricing

Licenses for prints that will be displayed at a Florida address are 15% off. The display address is confirmed at checkout and can be different from your billing address.

How you receive the files

After your payment is confirmed, I’ll be in touch by email soon with a private download link to the full-resolution file for each piece you licensed.

The link is for you only. Please don’t share it.
The link lasts 30 days, then expires. Download your files soon after you receive the email.
If you need it longer, or your link has expired or doesn’t work, just message me at brandon@brandonhowardart.com and I can reactivate it.

What a license does not allow

No editing. The art must be printed as delivered: no retouching, recoloring, cropping, filters, AI upscaling or other changes.
No resale. You may not sell, give away or share the file, or sell prints made from it.
No digital use. The file may not be used on websites, social media, screens, digital displays, or in any other digital form.
